A Fresh Start for September

September brings with it a breath of fresh air — new routines, renewed energy and, of course, a desire for a little more organisation. This kitchen embodies all of these qualities beautifully.

The deep ‘Hunter’ green cabinetry brings depth, character and colour to the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while offering a subtle connection to the outdoors. Combined with thoughtfully designed storage solutions and clever use of every available inch, this kitchen is as functional and organised as it is beautiful.

We love a challenge, and this project certainly presented an exciting one. Our design focused on making the most of the room’s natural light, bringing the client’s entire wish list to life, and ensuring the flow and functionality of the kitchen worked seamlessly.

A key part of the brief was to incorporate the utility room into the overall kitchen space. We achieved this by cleverly concealing the appliances and white goods within the cabinetry, keeping them completely out of sight until they are needed. The result is a streamlined, cohesive space where practicality never compromises the design.

Clever Storage, Designed Around You

One of the standout features of this kitchen is the large counter bi-fold unit. Designed to house small electrical appliances, everyday essentials and non-perishable foods, it keeps everything within easy reach while maintaining a beautifully uncluttered worktop.

At Celtic Interiors, we custom-build our furniture, allowing us to tailor every element to the individual needs of our clients. This means storage can be designed around how you actually use your kitchen, rather than expecting your lifestyle to fit around standard solutions.

The Celtic Wine Storage

One of our favourite bespoke creations within this kitchen is ‘The Celtic Wine Storage’ — a clever concept developed by our design team as an alternative to a traditional wine fridge.

Designed to replicate the look and functionality of dedicated wine storage without the cooling element, it provides the perfect environment for storing red wine at room temperature. There’s also the added benefit of being completely silent, making it a practical and stylish addition to the kitchen.

From clever concealed storage to bespoke cabinetry and considered design details, this kitchen is a perfect example of how thoughtful planning can transform a space. Every element has been designed with the client in mind, creating a kitchen that feels effortless, organised and welcoming — ready to work beautifully for everyday life.
