Terms & Conditions 2021
• Once the drawings have been handed over the deposit is non refundable.
• No furniture will be released until the 2nd deposit is paid in full.
• Please note that whilst every effort will be made by Celtic Interiors to keep the arranged fitting date, on occasion due to the nature of this business the date may need to be moved slightly from arranged date should this issue arise we will give you as much notice as possible.
• Certain accessories & appliances have a long lead time which must be taken into account when ordering your job. Should you choose one of these products, your sales consultant will inform you of the lead time and may require payment for this item in full to place it on order. Celtic Interiors cannot take responsibility for supplier lead times, or out of stock products that you may choose.
• A 50% restocking fee will apply to any appliance, accessory, sink or tap should you wish to change or cancel any model after finalising.
Your furniture has been built to survive the day to day demands that are put on it. To help give you peace of mind, we offer a 5-year guarantee with every job we sell. The first 2 years cover parts and labour and the later 3 years cover labour.
What will Celtic Interiors do to solve the problem?
For the first 2 years Celtic interiors will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under the guarantee. If considered covered, Celtic Interiors through its own service operations will then, either repair the defective product, or replace it with the same or comparable product. Celtic Interiors will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labour and travel for repair staff. If the item in question has been discontinued, Celtic Interiors will provide an appropriate replacement. It is Celtic Interiors that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement.
For the remaining 3 years of the Guarantee any items that need replacing will be replaced through our service operations. Celtic Interiors will cover the labour and travel for repair staff but the items being replaced will be charged to the client.
What is not covered under this guarantee?
This guarantee only covers items manufactured by Celtic Interiors. All other components such as handles, sinks, taps, appliances, LeMans units etc. will only be covered by the guarantee from the manufacturer which is generally 1 – 2 years depending on the company. This guarantee does not cover atypical wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. This guarantee does not apply to products used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or incorrect cleaning products. Painted finishes will naturally chip over time due to wear & tear. Touch up paint will be provided on your fit date that will easily fix these chips. This guarantee does not cover incidental or consequential damage
KEY IMPORTANT NOTES
Your 40% first deposit is to be fully paid a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your scheduled fitting date. Celtic Interiors can only begin manufacturing your furniture on receipt of this payment.
The 60% 2nd deposit will then be due 3 weeks before your fit date. We will be in contact with you prior to these payments being due.
• ACCESSORIES & APPLIANCES
All accessories and appliances are to be chosen at least 6 – 10 weeks prior to fitting due to certain products having a long lead time. A 50% restocking fee will apply to any appliance, sink or tap or accessory should you wish to change or cancel any model after finalising.
• GRANITE / QUARTZ
As quartz surfaces are manufactured to your exact measurements and specifications, the lead time for fitting can be up to 15 working days from templating of quartz. Please note, taps should be disconnected and, if wall cladding has been chosen, all sockets must be removed from the wall for the fit date to facilitate positioning of the worktop.
• SOLID WOOD WORKTOPS
If choosing solid plank worktops, please note due to the character of the solid wood, the worktop will have visible knots and variations.
• CHANGE TO DETAILS OR PAYMENTS
Please note if there is any change to the signed contract regarding furniture details or costings, a new revised contract will need to be signed by the client, making void any previous versions.
• DATA PROTECTION
Celtic Interiors will only use your data for the purposes of fulfilling our contractual responsibilities, unless there is a legal requirement for us to do otherwise. To fulfill our contract, we may need to provide some of your personal data (e.g. name, address and contact details) to third parties for them to carry out work. For example, we may need to give your data to a third-party quartz company to facilitate the fitting of your worktop. We will never provide your personal data to a third party for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly consented for us to do so. Our team will need to contact you during the course of the design, planning and/or installation of products, & will make contact be phone and/or by email.
